The Azerbaijan Culture Museum named after Mirza Fatali Akhundov was visited by Ilham Askerov, Director of the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre. The guest toured the museum’s exhibitions, including materials related to the work of Mirza Fatali Akhundov, and highly appreciated its activities. During the meeting, prospects for future cultural cooperation were also discussed.
Deputy Director of the Museum, Leyla Aliyeva, provided the guest with detailed information about the museum’s activities. She also spoke about Akhundov’s life and work in Tbilisi. The Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan visited the samples of Azerbaijani culture, art and literature preserved in the museum and other corners created here. Karimli also got acquainted with the courses operating at the museum, including the Georgian language courses that have been taught at the museum for many years and are one of the museum’s main prerogatives in the direction of integration.
The minister toured the building with the museum’s director, Leyla Aliyeva, and staff, familiarized herself with its needs, and reaffirmed the ministry’s support for the museum.
