Named after the late President of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev Park is a symbol of Azerbaijani-Georgian friendship.  

On June 14, 2004, a park was founded in the historical center of Tbilsi- Abanotubani. In the center of the park there is a monument to Heydar Aliyev. The height of the bust together with the pedestal is four meters. The park regularly hosts commemorative events honoring Azerbaijan's national leader, as well as celebrations of holidays from both fraternal countries.
